Types of Camera Digital vs Film:
1.     View Camera
Built like an accordion, with a lens in the front, a viewing screen in the back, and flexible bellows in  between.
Used for: Commercial studio photography
     Landscapes


             
2.       Rangefinder/ Viewfinder Camera
This is a lightweight compact camera used for
A Compact lightweight camera that allows you to view the scene through a small view finder.
Viewfinder cameras include inexpensive point and shoot cameras.
Rangefinders have a coupled rangefinder that allows manual focus.



3.   Single Lens Reflex
An SLR has a mirror and pentaprism that allow you to use the lens for viewing and focusing.
Most are 35 mm format, but some are medium format as well.



4.   Twin lens reflex
A TLR has a fixed mirror that reflects the scene upwards onto a viewing screen.
There is one lens to expose the film and another to view the image.

6.   Underwater Camera
For capturing the flora and fauna underwater camera are amazing tools.
Underwater cameras are designed for underwater still and video photography.
These cameras are designed such that protects them from the water and damage caused by pressure.
There are two types of underwater camera available :
1.     Housing system cameras
These underwater camera are considered superior for their accuracy of composition.
Auto-focus SLR cameras are placed in the system. This system is preferred for taking macro- shots. enables viewing through the lens more accurately and better composition control.
  
2.      Amphibious cameras
These underwater camera are waterproof. These cameras are small, compact and easy to transport.
This is also known as submersible viewfinder cameras. They are highly preferred by scientists, in their exploring expeditions.
